An essential feature of the environmental management system (EMS) is a commitment to improving environmental performance. This is achieved by setting annual environmental improvement objectives and targets which are regularly monitored and reviewed. The objectives and targets are publicised throughout the organisation and all staff are responsible for their achievement.
To ensure the achievement of the above commitments, the organisation has implemented an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of the BS EN ISO14001:2015 Standard as certified by BSI.
All IMS personnel understand the requirements of this Environmental Policy and abide with the Environmental Management System. A copy of this policy is given to all members of staff upon Induction as well as when changes have been made to the policy as a means of communicating the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System.
