BAE Systems Maintenance Contract

Overview

Since 2005 IMS has provided site-based production maintenance technicians to BAE Systems. The service covers multiple sites across the Midlands and South of England. Our technicians are embedded into the site facilities teams to provide a total service provision.

Through the years we have been worked directly for BAE Systems and partnered with EMCOR, Sodexo and currently MITIE Technical Services.

Scope of Works

• Planned and reactive maintenance to production equipment and machinery
• Appointment and coordination of specialist sub-contractors
• Procurement of spare parts
• Electrical & Mechanical Works including ATEX Installations & Inspections
• Upgrades and modifications to ensure compliance with the PUWER regulations
• Technical compliance for the equipment on site covering:
  • LOTO – Lock Out Tag Out
  • PUWER – Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations
  • DSEAR – Dangerous Substance and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations 2002
  • LEV – Local Exhaust & Ventilation
  • Electrical Safety Checks & Mechanical Safety Checks
