HMNB Clyde Pathfinder Simulator Project

Overview

Location: HMNB Clyde, Faslane Scotland
Works Description: To provide new electrical and data infrastructure and building fabric work alterations to the existing Pathfinder Simulator suite to accommodate a new wheelhouse simulator to the first floor and a submarine conning tower to the ground floor.

This project was the second of its type that IMS carried out in 2023 for our client Capita Plc, the first of which was carried out at BRNC Dartmouth.

Due to some constraints encountered with the design, it was necessary to remove all existing power and data cabling and containment to allow for new routes to be provided and complete decant of all areas.

The work carried out by IMS was successfully completed on time and within the tight four-week schedule. This meant working seven days a week to ensure that each element of the work was completed in a logical sequence.
